Instructions
- Start by assembling all the supplies you need. This includes your Nature’s Blossom Kit, wax, tins, wicks, double boiler, thermometer, pouring pitcher, and stirring stick.
- Start by melting the wax in the double boiler. The wax should not surpass the temperature of 180°F, or you run the risk of the wax being too hot and burning the wicks.
- Note: Make sure to stir the wax occasionally in order to ensure an even melt!
- Once the wax is completely melted and the temperature is at a suitable degree, it is time to add the scents. The Nature’s Blossom candle kit comes with two different scents, and each scent has the necessary amount of scented oil already measured out. This is to make sure there is the optimal scent strength.
- Note: If you would like more scent, Nature’s Blossom has extra scent oil available for purchase!
- Once the scented oils have been added to the wax, slowly pour the wax into the tins. Make sure not to fill the tins too high; you want to be sure to leave enough room so that the tin can be closed properly later.
- Note: It also helps to tilt the tin while pouring in order to get a even coverage.
- Once the wax has cooled to a temperature of 125°F, it is time to attach the wick to the bottom of the tin. You can use a wick sticker to make sure the wick stays in place.
- Note: Be sure to leave enough slack on the wick so that it does not interfere with the closing of the tin.
- Once the desired amount of time has passed and the wax is completely hardened, the last step is to close up the tin. Congratulations! You have now created a beautiful, unique and fragrant candle using the Nature’s Blossom Candle Making Kit.
